Willkommen Ramadhan!
There are a lot kind of calendar
e.g. Masehi, Hijriah, Saka, Imlek, etc.
Because I’m Moslem, I proud with
Hijriah even though in my surrounding not all people acquaint hijriah (re:
Islamic Calendar). But wait! Except one month that will come tomorrow, every
one know it surely. You know what? Yups, Ramadhan.
Ramadhan month is sooo well-known, not
only for Moslem but I’m sure every religion outside Islam in Indonesia also
familiar with Ramadhan. How come? The easy reason, Indonesia has moslem
in majority.
Ramadhan is usual called as fasting
month, all moslem in the world have fasting on this month. It’s involve
to be a special month besides the obviously month like Rajab and Sya’ban. But
the special thing in Ramadhan, we also have shalat tarawih and there’s special
night in one of tird night as Lailatul Qadar night, we all
don’t know it exactly but we try to find that special night with pray before we
have sahur at cock-crowk. Hmm... There are a lot of special thing that
offered in Ramadhan, it has written clearly in Al-Quran and also Hadist J And
this special month will be closed with Idul Fitri on the first of Syawal.
Nahh, we back to our discussing about
how famous Ramadhan in Indonesia. You can see evidently, every ‘warung’ will
be closed during the day and open toward night-time, a lot of department store
are filled by people who want to buy new clothes for Idul Fitri, Liquer
shop and prostitution are imposed to be closed (why just Ramadhan ._. ?) and
school (especially public school and Islamic School) will decrease their
learning process just because it’s Ramadhan. Aww, so delightful to pulang pagi
:D
Basically, I love Ramadhan.
